Elligible appllicants may complete the secondary anytime before our December 17, 2007 deadline. However, early completion of the secondary will increase an applicant's chances of an interview. Waiting to be contacted by the program for permission and a password to access the secondary is not necessary.   UW MSTP Secondary Application Click on the UW MSTP Secondary Application icon above. Select "MD/PhD Program" from the choices in the drop-down box at the top right of the page, read the instructions and click on "Begin New Application," located at the bottom of the page. You will be asked to create your username and password. Please remember them as you will need them to log back into your application to work on it at a later time or to review it's status after it has been submitted. However, once you submit it, you will not be able to change any information. After submitting your application you can periodically log in and see when your letters of recommendation and application fee have been received by our office. When all your secondary materials have been received and your AMCAS application has been verified, you will be contacted and told that your application is complete. It will then be reviewed at the next meeting of the MSTP admissions committee By completing our admission requirements, you are also submitting everything that the regular MD Program in the UW School of Medicine and Public Health requires. Therefore, you do not need to submit a separate application for the MD program. We will review your application first. If you are not accepted into the MSTP and wish to be considered for the regular MD program, I will take your file down to the MD admissions office for their review. (There is a circle to check on the "Applicant Questionnaire" page of our secondary to indicate this preference.) Please contact the MSTP Office if you have any questions or problems. Admissions Deadline For students interested in the Fall 2008 entering class, all materials should be received by the UW MSTP Office by December 17, 2007 Interview Dates November 15-18, 2007 (To be considered for this interview session, all application materials must be received by October 5, 2007) January 17-20, 2008 February 14-17, 2008
